Fade To Black

Stories by Robert White

Fade to Black is a new collection of short stories by author Robert White and published by Close To The Bone Publishing.

The Amazon page had this to say:

Fade to Black ‘s stories present characters you might see on any street in any town anywhere. Or maybe you wondered about the guy at the end of the bar brooding over his drink. What’s he thinking about? Or the woman who cut her eyes away from you as you passed her on the street. What’s on her mind? And then you went about your day not giving another thought to that stranger. Here’s your opportunity to see what lurks beneath the surface, and it’s not pretty–malignant intentions, murderous plans, festering hatreds, and dark secrets never meant to come to light. Have fun exploring the depths of human behavior; you won’t be disappointed.”

Critics had this to say about a couple of Robert White’s other noir thrillers:

Dead Cat Bounce (is) ‘ a deftly crafted suspense noir style thriller-but with a number of unexpected but inherently riveting twists and turns…’– Midwest Book Review

The Russian Heist (is) a gripping noir crime thriller…’ —Michael Shulman, Manhatten Book Review

“Robert White’s stories are always engaging and full of detail. They grab you and pull you in with each line, until the end is revealed.”—The Yard: Crime Blog
