Checkout Jailbreak: Love on the Run documentary
Cayce White was in the Lauderdale County Jail in Florence, Alabama. He was already sentenced to 75 years for a crime spree involving Home invasion, carjackings, robbery and attempted murder.
He had been transferred to the jail from prison after he claimed to have murdered a woman named Connie Ridgeway in 2015. He soon recanted his confession.
It was here that he began a relationship with the jail’s assistant director of operations Vicky White. (Not married or related to Cayce White)
The two carried on the relationship while Cayce remained in the jail. Vicky in the mean time was also preparing for the escape that would eventually come.
The documentary was produced by Aaron Ginsburg, William Green, and Alec MacRae. The film features interviews with investigators, Vicky’s co-workers, and inmates in the jail at the time.
